The 420 aspires to be an example of meaningful participation in this industry for the owners, our employees, ancillary businesses, and even local investors from the community. We are excited for the potential to be working with local investors, large and small, because our financial success should not solely be confined to our company, nor solely for those aggressive out-of-state corporate investors that are preying on minority owned businesses like ours in this industry.
Should our proposal be selected by the City of Boston, we intend to solicit local investment for our startup funds. Predatory investments are available to many minority cannabis entrepreneurs, but that choice turns their business into cash registers for the wealthy, and contributes to the financial draining of our community. We intend to be different by seeking less onerous partners, so we hope you will support our venture.
